My grandma is 87 years old and she is using a eye drops named 'gocat' which contain: - "potassium iodide -3.3% calcium chloride-1% sodium chloride-0.83% methyl paraben-0.023% propyl paraben-0.011%" this was the eye drops that was suggested by her doctor few years ago. I have heard that this solution can't reverse cataract and it only can delay the intensity of cataract. Recently I have heard that currently there exist solutions which can reverse the effect of cataract and I would like to know whether I should stick on to 'gocat' eye drops or is there any other eye drops which can heal or reverse the effect of cataract?

Helo you can use cineria maritima eye drops of homoeopathy reduce the progressive cataract. But if you think that eye drop will completely remove the cataract then it is not possible by any of the pathies for that you have to undergo phaco emulsification. For time being you can use cineria maritima eye drop with minimal side effect.

Eye drops can reduce cataract formation in initial stages only. In old people it is not possible to reduce with eye drops. But, it helps in cleaning purpose and swipes away all dust.
