I am 25 year old male. I was taking nexito forte lorazepam 2 mg tablets since 5 years. I was continuously and regularly self medicating these tablets. Now I have stopped it. Does taking lorazepam for long period damage my brain .i have worry about that. Please guide me.

Its okay if you have stopped it and not experiencing any problem while stopping abruptly. Consuming lorazepam especially in long term is mostly done by people who have developed dependence or addiction akin to alcohol dependence. It is harmful but it's difficult to comment actually how much damage it has incurred, though some of the effects are recoverable but some may not. So its advisable to take any pill under the supervision of doctor, I wish you do not start them again by yourself!
