I am 31 years old my fasting was 315 before 3 months now I am taking janumet 500 mg medicine and now it is 95 fasting and after eating 120 above so can you recommend some other medicine becoz after taking this medicine I feel very low.

Dear Ms. lybrate-user, your blood sugar control is excellent on your current medication continue this. In fact of you reduce weight by about 10-15 kg over the next 1 year with diet and exercise you will need much lower dose. You probably are b12 deficient this happens with metformin and that may make you feel low. Check b12 leves and if below 300 pg/ml start on methycobal 500 ug once daily as a vitamin supplement along with the morning dose of janumet.
