My mother has melasma and she is 47 years old doctor suggested melaglow daily (night) and revize micro gel 0.025% (thrice a week) .can revize gel be used for melasma if yes how much quantity should be used and does it contain steroids?

Hi. Yes revize micro gel (tretinoin) 0.025 percent can be used for melasma. Tretinoin is one of the treatment modility for melasma. It also comes in combination formula with steroid and hydroquinone. It doesn't contain steroid. Use small quantity only on hyperpigmented area. Dryness, mild irritation etc are the few side effects. Thanks.
