I was diagnosed with anxiety attack .my son tested positive for corona, daughters marriage was postponed and fil had a stroke. I had jitters, feeling of hot and cold and major symptoms were thickened tongue, slight slur at times, jaw tightness and clenching of teeth, zero appetite, nausea etc. This was for 10 days after which I consulted a gp .he put me on to a psychiatrist who recommended lonazep for 3 weeks .the dosage was reduced every week. I still have some symptoms. And the gp diagnosed me with ibs too .and he has prescribed ibset ,providac and rifagut for 1 month. When I contacted my psychiatrist after 3 weeks he said since symptoms haven't gone completely he has put me on prothiaden. I am terrified now to take so many medications. While the gp told me to take lonazep 1/2 tab extra if I feel anxious, the psychiatrist has a different take. Kindly help. I have started meditation and I paint and do all house work and keep myself busy. Inspire of all this I am not very hungry and nauseous when I eat. Please advice .in urgent need.

You must meet with a counselor. The recent experiences that you had to undergo will stress anyone. You are probably not good at handling fear and may lack a good emotional constitution and makeup. As a result you have acted hysterically. But not to worry you can sort this out by going on a rigorous program of good exercise, proper sleep, healthy diet, and some stress free living. If you are unable to ingest food, you can mash the food in a mixie and take it as liquid diet, in small quantities. It is advisable to take a good multivitamin and multimineral as a supplement. It must include vitamin D3. The counselor will train you to handle emotions, especially fear, and everything should turn out alright.
