The mark on your face after the dettol use must have been due to 'irritant contact dermatitis' caused due to dettol. Its not supposed to applied over the face either way. For the residual mark you can apply a depigmenting cream. It nay take a few months to go. Along with the chemical peeling with glycolic acid peel would be helpful.
