Recently I have been experiencing repeated problem of frequent, painful passing of urine. After consulting urologist and taking flavoxate 200 mg tablets, problem disappears but again after a lapse of 3-4 weeks it starts again. Can repeated use of this medicine cause adverse effects on the health? How long can I use as doctor directed to use it as and when problem appear and stop when feel better. Only worried about frequent use of medicine does not cause any other problems.
