Respect sir, m not missing any tab and fluctuations in tsh some time come 1.87 and after 3 month come tsh 15, free t3 and free t4 normal, m taking thyronorm 25 mcg regular, any suggestions and side effects of tablet, or when I need to stop tablet?

Hello, Thanks for the query. Usually when some one is on regular treatment with adequate dosage of Levothyroxine TSH maintained with in the normal range. TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L is considered ideal, at that most of the symptoms are in check .The range can be 0.5 to 4.5 - 5.0 mU /L. Higher level is an indicator of improper treatment or reduced dosage. Discontinuing the tablets will make it worse. If TSH is 15 mU/L, then dose needs to be increased, then again TSH needs to be checked after 6 weeks. Thanks.

At TSH 15 it is not advisable to stop your medicine in fact its dose need to increased.
