My mom admitted due to covid pneumonia for 40 days with 1 week ventilator. Angiogram had done 12 years back. Now she is in home and no need of oxygen. She is maintaining oxgen level above 91. But the problem is cough. Too much cough and please suggest how many days it will take to cure and some medicine for cough because doctor didn't provide any medicine for the cough. Can we use budecort 0.5 nebulizer for her, kindly advise us please.

Budamate 200microgm one transcap twice daily with lupihaler. Rinse your mouth with drinking water 5 minutes after inhalation x3 months. Duolin rotacap 1 rotacap sos with lupihaler. Budecort .5mg Respules +duolin respules sos with nebuliser if there is severe respiratory distress.

Dear lybrate-user, post viral cough is very common. Occasionally nebulisation can be given. Any cough suppressant will do. Can be taken at night.
