My brother is taking glyciphage 500 for sugar once daily but his fasting sugar taken today was 148 .do the dosage need to be changed. Please advise me on this.

I need to know the following details: fbg< pp glucose, hba1c%, weight, height, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, lipid profile and age of the patient. Ideally in a well controlled patient fbg should be < 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. If you want any specific advice please come back with all necessary information.
