Looking at your age, the glucose levels should be fbg < 100 mg, pp 150 to 1600 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. That means there is a need to look at your overall treatment which includes upgrading the drug treatment, giving a closer look at your dietary pattern extent of daily exercise and weight control since there is no mention of weight & height plus other necessary information no comments can be made regarding that aspect. Tablet metformin can betaken even just after food also. There is no problem at all. However, just metformin is not at all adequate for you. Thanks.
