My weight is 106 kg. I am 5'8" 52 year old diabetic. I take sitagliptin and metformin tablets to control sugar. I follow intermittent fasting with 1900 calorie consumption. I don't take sugar or sweets. Only home cooked food, fruits and nuts. I work out 5 days in a week with cardio and weightlifting for 50 minutes. But I am not losing weight at all. My lipid profile is within limits so are my kft & lft. My h1bac is around 9.8 for which my doctor changed from janumet 50/500 to januvia 100 mg before breakfast and 50 mg after dinner. Plus 1000 mg sitagliptin after breakfast and 500 mg after dinner. Now my fasting sugar is 140 and pp at 180. Should I reduce the food intake to < 1500 calories in addition to increasing weight training? I have been doing intermittent fasting and 1900 cal intake for the last 5 months but weight is not reducing. Pl. Help.
