Hlo dr, my age is 25 I had diabetes fr 5 years I am using novomix 30 once in a day 26 units and my sugar is controlled average 95 fasting and 130 prelunch and 140 predinner. But using that I have lipohypertrophy. So can I use plain insulin aspart like novorapid will it work fr me. Pls help.

Hello, thanks for the query. Please let me know whether you have t1 or t2 diabetes? Because if you have t2 then you can use some oral drugs also to reduce insulin dosage. But if you have t1 dm then the insulin that you are using is comparatively long acting one, so if you shift to rapid acting one then more number of injections would be needed. Please talk to your physician and decide. Thanks.
