I am taking amaryl forte m2 twice, januvia 100 mg in morning and zucator 100 mg twice for diabetic and tezzly 20 for blood pressure. My hb1c is 7 and fasting sugar level is 154. Can I change any medicine or continue with same. I am 50 year old diabetic from last 15 years.

Hello, Thanks for the query. You are already on multiple drugs for controlling blood glucose. At 50 years your control is fairly good. Ideally HbA1c% should be around 6.5%. However, there is no mention of your height (only weight is mentioned), plus nothing on dietary intake as well as extent of daily exercise. In diabetes treatment these two aspects are more important than just drugs. So there is a need to give a closer look at those two areas. Reducing or making certain changes to diet and increasing extent of daily exercises can definitely help in bringing the glucose levels further.
