My tsh was 2 seven months back. Now after seven months it has increased to 5.5.now what should l do. I am taking thyronorm 36.5. Should l increase thyronorm dose.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Your TSH 5.5 mU/L is fine considering your age. Because at this age it is better to have TSH around 5 to 6 mU/L. Lower TSH means increased Thyroxine (T4) activity. Which is not advisable in the persons above 60 years. So no need to increase the dosage.
