I am from Chennai having heavy congestion severe cold and runny nose with fever of 100 to101.8 for the past five days with body pain and on Dr.S advice taking Anticlav 625 montec LC etc. Is it a ripe time for a H1N1 test or wait for the present treatment to over.

Yes u can go for testing for h1n1 while being on the treatment.

You can do H1N1 test, there is no such ripe time for the test , if fever is not decreasing from last 5 days then please go ahead, if reports are negative also then u will be sure to say that this is not H1N1, the medicine prescribed are good

Treatment is right. It seems only seasonal viral fever. There is no specific sign or symptoms for H1N1 infection so if suspected you may get done test for H1N1 if don't feel improvement.
