Clonate has a strong steroid in it. It is not recommended for long term use as it has multiple side effects. Consult a certified dermatologist and get proper treatment.

Thanks for your query. Clonate ointment contains clobetasol, which is the most potent steroid. It is strongly not advisable to use steroid without the prescription of a dermatologist. Use of steroid is associated with several side effects such as thinning, dryness, redness, white spots, dark spots, development of hair, pimples, etc to name a few.
