I am 46 year old woman, and I am diabetic type 2 patient, 2 weeks back I had undergone percutaneous nephrectomy surgery due to kidney infection and they done surgery successfully. Now I am having 1 drainage urobag and I am taking antibiotics like 1.ferocan 200 2.moxif 3.linowin 600 4 .ultracet 5.human mixtard from last 2 days after meal when I take these tablets ,i am getting vomiting ,pls tell me why I am getting vomiting?

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details. Some times certain drugs do produce vomiting sensation. If that is a constant occurrance then it is better to take antiemetic drugs like ondensetron or domperidone about 45 minutes before taking those drugs twice a day. That will help in controlling the nausea. Plus it is very important achieve a strict glucose control for better infection control. Ideally fasting glucose should be about 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5% so please do take care. Thanks.
