Hi, I am 25 years old and I have a lump in my left armpit since 2018. It's painless and has not become enlarged with time. It only hurts a bit when I am on my periods. I went to a dermatologist for checkup and had an ultrasound as well. She said it's breast tissue, nothing serious but I will have to have surgery if I want it gone. Should I be worried about it? What should be my next step? Can't this be treated with medicines only? Please help. I am really scared of any kind of operations. Thanks in advance.
