Can I take thyronorm 75 and pantocid dsr together in morning empty stomach or first I take thyroid tablets 40 minutes after pantocid please suggest.

Hello, Thanks for the the query. Please remember Levothyroxine has to be taken early morning on empty stomach first thing in the morning .and then for better results nothing should be taken for at least 1 hour after that. Pantaprazole then can be taken 40 minutes before breakfast. I hope it is clear. Thanks.

Hi lybrate-user, it is better to take the thyronorm first in the morning as acid in the stomach is required for absorbing thyronorm. You can take pantocid later. In some patients with prolonged use of medications similar to pantocid, mild increase in dosage of thyronorm has been advised. You need to check your bloods for tsh regularly. Hope this helps.
