Dear doctors my father recently had epilepsy after which some lesions in the temporal lobe of his brain were formed. Due to this, he has mental confusion and temporary memory loss. Doctors suspected that it could be viral encephalitis probably hsvirus, but uts negative in the pcr test and no bacterial culture was formed. He's admitted in the hospital for 10+ days and antibiotics like ceftriaxone, acyclovir and mesporine are given to him one by one on different days. I would like to know the possible quick ways of rehabilitation and rejuvenation of regaining lost memory and mental confusion. For your information, he has lost memory of events that happened in the oast 4 to 5 months.
