1 am 59 years old, recently diagnosed with diabetes 2.i have been placed on galvus 50/1000 mg medication, alongside some high blood pressure drugs and cholesterol drug too. So far within the last three weeks, my bp has been controlled. Same with my glucose test results. E. G. The level has been between 5.1 - 5.7.today at 6 am, the glucose level was 5.1. Two hrs after breakfast it dropped to 4.7.it also happened some days ago. I have also been on a good diet of vegetables and plant protein with minimal carb intake. I hope there is positive progress.

Restricted dietary intake, regular exercise and weight control are equally important like the drugs in the treatment of diabetes.
