Hi! I am 30 years old, married, no kids. I was using sevista as a contraceptive. I started experiencing a dull pain at a particular point in my lower abdomen right side from june 2020. I had an ultrasound in september 2020 that showed 22mmx20 mm fibroid in the uterus and normal size uterus. After that I had only little period flow for 3 months (oct-dec), only brown spotting was there, no blood. The periods were on time though. From dec, my doctor put me on ovralg. I got my periods on january 17. They were heavy and lasted for 5 days, when usually they last only 3 days. Today (1st feb) I had an ultrasound again that showed bulky uterus and thickened endometrium lining (14 mm). The pain has also not subsided. My doctor told me to conceive as soon as possible. I don't want to have kids any time soon. Please tell me what are the risks associated and is ovral g even suited for my condition. I have never had bulky uterus problem before this. I had surgery for uterine fibroids (5 cm) removal in 2014.

Fibroids will grow over period of time and give you trouble conceiving, so better to plan pregnancy early. Ovral taken for 3-6 mths won't affect your future pregnancy
