Before I used to take clonazepam 0.25 mg/per day only when I had panic attacks (used 20 tablets in 40 days). Now I have been taking 0.25 mg clonazepam continuously for the past 30 days. Can I stop it abruptly now? Pls advise.

Taking a benzodiazepine separately is not advisable, also it may cause dependence and make stopping the drug difficult. If no alcohol history and no other over the counter drugs, and no other drug intake, you may try stopping the drug, but make sure you have got over your panic disorder, and the underlying psychological issues for that panic. If no issues lingering you may stop the tablet for two days tentatively and watch for any rebound/withdrawal effects. Make sure you are absolutely following your sleep hygiene points for a natural sleep.
