Hello ystday after long I check my sugar its 221 around 3.39 noon post meal I take metformin 1000 mg after that also its very high .after that I check my sugar again at 3.48 noon same day that time its 140 .today I check fasting its 137 10.39 morning and post meal 219 at 1.11 I wanna know why its too high even after taking medicine of diabetes could you advise treatment for this.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Following are my observations : 1)The glucose levels taken at various times show that you are not having proper control. Which can be due to inadequate medication, improper diet and /or lack of exercise as well as excess weight. 2) Only Metformin is unlikely to be effective in such a situation. 3) There is a need to give a closer look at your diet in detail, extent of daily exercise and weight control. 4) I hope you are aware with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 29.1 kgs (< 23kgs/Sq Meter), there is an excess of over 14 kgs. Therefore, even if you bring down your weight, ther will be batter glucose control possible.
