My last period date was 9th jan 2020. Me and my husband were closed for two days exactly on 15th jan & 21 jan. I missed my period on Feb 9th .and checked on 15th feb checked with a urine test strip but it shows negative and the doctor prescribed me regestrone pills for 3 days morning and night. Whether it will help me to avoid pregnancy. Then when will I get my period?

Regesterone does not help to avoid pregnancy but helps to get withdrawal bleeding in those who are not pregnant. Withdrawal bleeding may occur 3 to 7 days after stopping regesterone. If that does not happen to consult Gynecologist again
