Dear sir, myself is suffering from the disease of epilepsy since last 33 yrs, this disease took place, while at the age of 13 yrs, when me had been a teenager. At present I am taking medicines - zeptol 200 (twice a day after food), valprol cr200 with zeptol, eptoin 100 at night. The effect of the zeptol medicine is very severe, particularly making me a bit mentally disbanded to a certain extend, and arousing me certain suicidal tendency nature. Please suggest me a remedy. Thanking you.

Dear lybrate-user, a combination of three drugs is not a very good idea and is rarely required. You have not mentioned the kind of epilepsy you are having, no of seizures in last 6 months if any, your weight. You must also ask for help for suicidal tendency and discuss it with your family and psychiatrist if required. But surely your medication needs to be reviewed and streamlined as it seems to be totally haphazard.
