I am 47 male, known diabetic for 10+ years on medication. Current medication is diamicron 30 mg sr 1 tab bbf, glyciphage 500 sr 1 tab each before lunch and dinner. I am a lean diabetic with bmi of 21. Current readings of fbs :119, ppbs :191, hba1c: 6.2. Other profiles such as lipid, renal, thyroid, liver are within normal limits. Fasting sugar and ppbs varies between 115 & 130 and 170& 210. Hba1c ranges between 6.2 and 6.5. This range is for the last 6 to 8 months. Do I need to change my medication? I have no other complaints.
