Hi. I'm 25 years old women .having oily skin tone. I have acne problem due to hormonal imbalance. So I consulted dermatologist. Doc gave benzoyl peroxide soap and benzoyl peroxide gel -5%.i used that but it leaves lots of black scars on my face .since it's two months. Would you suggest any remedy for that scars? And really wanna to know is this scars fade and how many months it will take? I'm bride .so kindly suggest any remedy for that.

Hi lybrate-user, are those scars or spots? We need to differentiate between the two because acne scars requires methods like lasers, peels, microneedling etc, while spots can be treated by oral and topical medicines. It will take minimum a month for spots to lighten if you do proper treatment. You can take food items rich in vitamin c, that would help spots to lighten. Apply proper sunscreens daily.
