I am 24, female. I have always had digestive issues, and yesterday I noticed I had a bump around the anal area. Today I decided to check what it was, and I am fairly sure it is a skin tag. However, I also found a couple of black spots of the skin around my anus. I really do not know if they've always been there. I know I can not get a diagnosis online, I just want to know if it's something I should call my gi about or if I should look for a dermatologist.

Dear lybrate-user the anal verge skin is dark in lolor as it has a thick musculature. The bump may be a thickened skin or may be a temporarily dilated blood vessel under the skin. There is a possibility of a tag as well. You may visit your gynae doc and let her examine you once. Ayurveda has very good solution for digestive issues and should you need any assistance, pl let me know in a private chat. Hope your query is resolved.
