I am having a bp of 90/130 and it is not coming down jnspite of my taking the proper medicines regularly, right now I am taking telmikind 40 mg- once morning and s- numlo-5 mg- once at night, is there any way I can reduce my systolic bp to 80 by either increasing the dosage or by changing the salt. There is no need to reduce systolic bp (130 in your case). Considering your age of more than 60, your bp is almost normal. However, slight reduction in diastolic bp (90) will be recommended with initial try of lifestyle modification (salt restriction and 30-40 min of brisk walking). If not, then increase in dose of anti hypertensive or add on medication (following medical consultation).
