Dear lybrate-user I trust that your father is using all these medicines only on a doctors prescription. If not please talk to your doctor. Self medication is a very dangerous thing. Tab azithromycin, ivermectin and fabiflu all belong to the broad group of antibiotics and not to be used for more than 5 days unless specifically prescribed by a doctor for longer time. (they tend to damage the liver and kidneys). Tab limcee, zincovit, zinc tablets are all multivitamin tablets and should be enough for 1 week. Fresh fruit and vegetables are better than the multivitamins tablets and you must encourage your father to have them. Tab allegra is an anti allergy tablet and if you don't have any allergy symptoms it is of debatable use. If your father is having fever or body aches he will definitely benefit from paracetamol tablets. And you rightly said since your father is taking a lot of medication, he will need ranitidine or a similar medication to protect the stomach from damage. This can be taken for 2- 3 weeks even after stopping all other medication. Hope this clarifies things but my advice will still be to keep in touch with your doctor.
