My mother is 68 years and diabetes ansbp problem. She becomes unconscious for 1 or2 hour. And automatically becomes normal. Heart related blood reports are normal. During unconscious ness bp becomes high. She is takingtenebitem20, telma beta50, glimitalm1,ecosprin and nexito20 and ativan also taking one tab for acidity. Pls suggest treatment sir.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have read the information mentioned. It is unclear as to why she becomes "unconscious" quite often. In diabetes if a person's blood glucose goes < 50 mg/ 100 ml or even lower. In case if bp goes too low then also there is a possibility but in these situations patient needs appropriate treatment. Very rarely recovers on his /her own. So please do consult a near by physician as it may need a monitoring for 24 hours or so, plus checking of all the vitals readings. There is no mention of her glucose levels (fbg< pp & hba1c% & bp. So very difficult to comment. So please consult her physician. Thanks.
