I am having mild hypertension. I am checking it from 3-4 months and it comes out 90-135 to 100-140. I am 32 years old and software engineer by profession. So there is less physical activity in my daily routine. My mother is also a high bp patient from many years. She is taking amlip 5 medicine daily. I want to know can we get covid vaccine shot? What should I do to control my bp to get it normal. I feel extra stress from my bp other than my work and now extra with covid news. Do I need to start daily medicine?

Your bp 135/90 is high. It is a silent and harmful disease which affects all organs. You need personal examination and have to take the prescription medicine on long term basis. Please consult your local physician for checkup and advice.

Yes definitely MR.Kush your BP seems to be on the higher side .. Just check and keep a record of your BP for 7 days both morning and evening between 4-6 pm before taking hot beverages.. If the BP stays high over the recorded 7 days you will be needed to be on anti hypertension medication and will require few investigation for ruling out secondary cause of hypertension as you belong to young hypertensive group.. You can follow up with your BP records so I could be in better position to help u up
