This is called a subconjunctival hemorrhage. The blood vessels may break when your child sneezes, coughs, vomits, strains, or bends over. Sometimes there is no clear cause. Hello. Red eye in children has n number of causes. It can be assessed by its colour, location, extent etc. Without having a look at it, any diagnosis can not be arrived at. The treatment plan will depend on it, after ruling out infection first of all. A picture of the eyes will be a great help. You can contact me anytime for the same.
