Hello doctor, after 1 hour of facewash, the pores tend to appear on cheeks and also having tan on left cheek and I have consulted dermatologist. He gave me glambak gel, clarina soap, azithromycin 3 strip tablets. Will they solve my problems? Thank you.

Hii, glambak gel contains kojic acid, arbutin which are depigmenting agents and octinoxate which is a sunscreen agent. Any treatment for acne/ open pores or pigmentation takes minimum 3 months to show visible results. This varies from patient to patient as well. Certain lifestyle factors too play a role here which includes diet - include antioxidant rich diet i.e. Fresh fruits and leafy vegetables, vitc rich foods like amla in any form; sleep - min 7 hrs, water intake- min 3 litres, exercise - 30 mins min 5 days a week, avoid long hours in front of screens etc. If you have consulted an md dermatologist, your treatment should be perfect and according to your skin type. So, keep calm, trust your dermatologist and it will be all good. Have a nice day.
