Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details written. It is good to see that you have been maintaining glucose levels in a good range. The sudden increase might have happened either due to to a change in dietary intake or missing or reducing the Insulin dosage. To maintain strict glucose levels monitoring Insulin dosage (both rapid acting and basalog. You may have to increase rapid acting insulin by 2 unitsat least twice and similarly Basalog may also be increased by 2 units. You have to monitor fasting and PP more closely. Do not allow blood glucose to go too high. As regards your weight, at your height ideal weight for you is 61 kgs, so 70 kgs is quite high, that gives a BMI(Body Mass Index) of 26,5 kgs/Sq meter(Normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter) which is in the category of over weight. Hence, there is a need to reduce weight. I hope you understand. If glucose is well controlled weight is maintained. But if you have high glucose then due to more glucose lost through urine weight can be lost. However, for you there is a need to reduce the weight. Thanks.
