My father is 51 year old. Currently he is taking sibofix 550 and normaxin from 3 days for diarrhea and ibs .today he get 1-degree fever .now he become covid suspected. Can I give ivermectin 12 mg od for 3 days with doxycycline 100 mg bd for 5 days?

Ivermectin is no longer recommended as no benefit is found. At this stage, doxycycline would also not be recommended as there is no need of antibiotic right now you can give vit c an zinc supplement along with budecort 2puff twice daily if there is breathing difficulties and paracetamol if there is fever. Give betadiene gargles and give plenty of fluids. Do not take steroid without consulting a physician first! take care.
