I am 47 years old. Suffering from severe bleeding due to cystic fibroids. For the past 3 months. So pls suggest me to stop it by having hormonal injection or tab. And what is the dosage and full course of tranexamic acid plus ethamsulate combination tab. Pls answer dr.

You can take trapic e 2 tabs three times a day for 3-5 days.

Hello! If the bleeding is very severe take Inj Tranexa 1 g right away. If not Tab Trapic with ethamsylate 2 tablets three times a day is the maximum dose. You can take upto 5 days and slowly taper and decrease the dose as per your bleeding. Do check your hemoglobin levels if this is happening constantly and make sure you do not have any contraindications to taking trapic that is conditions which increase risk of clotting.
