You can wait upto 7-10 days for your periods to come spontaneously. If you haven't been sexually active or been through some stress, you will need workup later for delayed periods. If periods still don't come, take regesterone again.

Wait for your periods for another one week if you are sexually active then do home urine for pregnancy test.

I feel you should wait for 3 to 4 days. Then if periods do not begin take a pregnancy test. It could be due to some other cause so consult a doctor locally or online.
