I am 17 year old female. Last month I was tested covid positive but i'm almost recovered. I want to know if I can get a tattoo anytime soon. If no then how long should I wait?

Tattoo is not contraindicated with covid but it can cause other problems like local skin reactions, infection like hiv. So be careful.

Post covid 10-14 days is enough for you to mingle socially. But during this tough times I suggest not to do tattoos and all. U are always at risk of getting another variant of covid which has immune escape mutation. And as black fungus is on rise kindly refrain your self from these things. Anyways as per your query, yes you can get it done after 14 days of no symptoms. Better to give your body rest for 2 months atleast before you go for tattoo.

Hello lybrate-user! good to hear this. As most of the aspects related to covid are in research phase, so is this tattoo issue. As you have already passed 1 month being asymptomatic and you feel you are recovered enough to tackle any local site inflammation or redness after getting tattoo then you can get it. But in any case its better if you should stay home for now and delay tattooing because it will bring unnecessary exposure with itself.
