I had covid in recent past. Now I am doing well but due to allergies, I had got sinusitis which is also fine now. Now I am having some little eye redness and no other symptoms. I have been prescribed two eye drops brismox d and alcarex kt after diagnosis. As brismox d eye drop contains dexamethasone, so, I am little bit worried. Will it be fine to use as an eye drop after covid ?is it same as taking steroids oral?

No, it is not the same as oral steroids. These are topical steroid drops which mainly act locally to bring down pain, redness and inflammation. It won't cause you any harm if you use it for a short duration of about 7-10 days with gradual spacing and tapering towards the end of the course. However, if used for longer periods it may cause certain unwanted side effects. So make sure, you use it only for as long as prescribed.

Topical (eye drops) is safe to be used, even oral steroids also are quite safe if not used for long and high dose.
