Earlier I was being treated with destrogen (ocp) and endoreg taking both cont. For 6 months creating a temporary menopause and it was really effective. But now after my delivery last year, cyst showed up again and it hurts really bad. No I have consulted another Dr. She suggested freebase but with stopping in between for periods to come. Is this gonna help reduce the cyst if periods keep on coming every month?

The periods that come on stopping an ocp is withdrawal bleed which is lighter than a regular period and usually doesn't aggravate the symptoms or size of the cyst. However, if you feel your symptoms are severe during periods, you can take the pills continuously and give a gap after every 3 months.
