I am 56 years old male and have been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma in right eye recently. Doctor removed it by operation. I just want to know are there any chances of its reoccurance and what will be its effect on my eye. What precautions should I take?

Hello Mr. Lybrate-user. There are still 5% chances of recurrence. Just be in touch with your treating surgeon and get routine check up done every 3 months initially and then every 6 months.
