Hello doctor, I am a 35 years old woman .i am allergic to egg since childhood. Direct or indirect eating egg, knowingly or unknowingly leads to severe vomiting and severe stomach pain (a pinch size egg, or cake made with egg) in me. Also now a days I have low b.p. So, can I take covid vaccine? Doctor please suggest.

Dear lybrate-user, both covishield and covaxin does not contain egg components, so they are safe in egg allergy patients, and low bp is not a contraindication to vaccination. You can take the vaccination, it just that you inform the health care person available there about your allergy so that they can monitor you post vaccination.
