Hi, I tested thyroid recently. My reports are: t3-167.8 t4-11.40 tsh-0.0392 could you please suggest, which thyronorm to be taken. Earlier the numbers were very high and I took 120 mg.

According to your weight you might need nearly 125. But since your tsh is suppressed to less than 0.4 you need to stop thyronorm for a while. Some hypothyroid patients have an increase in thyroid hormones for a while. It is called the 'itis' phase. Also have you checked your antibodies? T3 and t4 appear normal if they are total t3 and t4, but if it is free t3 and free t4 they are quite high.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the thyroid hormone levels mentioned. The tsh level is too low and t4 is quite high. Please let me know if you are levothyroxine now & what is the current dosage? Plus whether you have any symptoms related to the condition? The current situation is pointing to medicine induced hyperthyroidism. So please come back with necessary answers. Only looking at those details I will be able to advise. Thanks.
