Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. Usually with steroids (if taken for a few days) blood glucose does go up and may remain so for long time, if proper medication is not taken. Ideally fbg should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. Since no details are given, it is difficult to comment further. It is necessary to know height, weight, extent of daily exercise, dietary patter, and lipid profile. So if you are interested in online treatment then please come back with all the necessary information in a private conversation so that I will be able to give specific advise and even prescribe required drugs if any. Thanks.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, after stopping steroids it takes about 30-4 weeks for sugars to normalize. If this has not happened you need to adjust you diet medication and exercise to wquickly get the sugars under control. You can take an online consultation and we wil be able to help you. In the meantime focus ondiet - go on a very low carbohydrate high protein diet with lot of vegetables and exercise for about 1 hour per day
