Hi this is vinitha .my mom wants to take covid injection but she is an diabetes patients where she regularly take tablet like cobadex czs. Syscan 150 mg. gemer 2 mg .vozet 5 mg. Glycomet 250 mg. Pioglit mf .pls let me know if can we take covid injection if not what shld we must do.

I am sure you have heard and may be read about how important it is to have covid vaccine by everyone including persons having diabetes and other chronic diseases. So please see that she takes the vaccine immediately. Another important aspect is to have a strict glucose control with fbg < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 7% if patient is above 60 years.
