Hello there are many different options for closing gaps between teeth. It depends on the size of the gap and the desired outcome from a functional and cosmetic point of view. The various options include: 1. Braces/orthodontic treatment - to close large spaces between the teeth, braces are the best option. If the shape, colour and size of the teeth are acceptable, braces will give good results. It may also be possible to close the space using clear aligners. 2. Direct bonding/composite resin - it is a very simple, cost effective and conservative option for closing gaps between teeth, where tooth-coloured filling material to the side of the teeth next to the gap. 3. Veneers - if the gap between the teeth is small and some discoloration or unfavourable shape is present, this option can provide good results, as the veneers cover the whole surface of the tooth and very good cosmetic outcomes are achievable. Porcelain veneers can mask slightly larger gaps between the teeth and provide excellent cosmetic results because more modifications to the teeth are possible. However, the best treatment option for you will depend on size of the gap, shape, size and color of teeth, condition of your gums and other teeth in mouth and many other factors. Visit the dentist for definite treatment plan.
