I'm using elosone ht cream for 5 days. I studied bad effects of this cream. Suddenly I want to stop this cream what happen if I suddenly stop this and give me some remedy to over come this steroid dangerous effect. Suddenly I felt itching 5 th day .shall I apply neem for the face to overcome this effect. What contain steroids?

Elosone ht cream contains hydroquinone, tretinoin and mometasone. It is used for treating pigmentation like melasma. Short term use (1 week or less) does not have major side effects. You can stop the use and apply sunscreen with spf of 30 or higher daily. Use a gentle cleanser to wash your face because you don’t want harsh soap to damage your skin (already sensitive due to cream application). Keep your face adequately moisturised with a hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic moisturiser like excela rich moisturiser. If you are suffering from pigmentation you can opt for safer alternatives.
